The EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 has been revised several times since its enactment in 2006, and the list of restricted substances in Annex alone has been revised 42 times, among which the restricted substances have also increased from 52 in the initial period to 74 now (79 substances in the Annex). However, some substances under item numbers were removed from the restricted list during the revision process, and item numbers were not deleted).
